Our founder, Jordan Ervin, spent years working at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and innovation—across industries like international contracting, marketing, publishing, film, and design. For years, he has been dedicated to the same core pursuit: crafting stories that move people and building systems that serve them.
In 2021, he founded Story Company with a conviction to illuminate the world with stories of truth, goodness, and beauty. What began as a small studio in Kathmandu quickly grew into a world-class media house—partnering with global organizations to create films, campaigns, and narratives that raise awareness and spark change.
As Story Company expanded, so did the needs of its clients. They needed more than stories—they needed systems. They needed technical teams they could trust to steward their digital endeavors.Out of that need, KioTech was born.
In 2025, KioTech officially launched with a mission to build a world-class engineering company rooted in creativity, integrity, performance, and impact. Today, KioTech partners with global brands to build managed engineering teams and custom web and mobile applications. Soon, it will expand further—helping clients explore AI-driven solutions through its R&D studio, KIO Labs.
